Breezo & Corona COVID19

With the outbreak of the Corona COVID19 virus worldwide, Breezo is receiving many questions about the effectiveness of its probiotic air treatment products.

First of all, not a single product in the world can prevent direct transmission of this (or any) virus through aerosols (tiny particles when sneezing or coughing) from person to person. So, we need to focus on the indirect transfer through hands, surfaces or objects.

Breezo products contain probiotics for improved hygiene and protection. Upon application, the probiotics will stay on the surface (hard surface, textile, skin...) in order to provide two main benefits:

The system (no larger than a cordless telephone) can be placed in any office and can treat at least 50 m² of office space or sanitary room, using ultrasonic misting of probiotics. Larger models to be built in HVAC-systems, are also available.

It has been proven that the Corona COVID19 virus first infects the upper respiratory tract and sinuses. Making sure these areas also harbor a healthy microbiome will lower the risk of infection. Met het uitbreken van het Corona COVID19-virus wereldwijd, krijgt Breezo veel vragen over de effectiviteit van haar probiotische luchtbehandelingsproducten.

Allereerst, geen enkel product ter wereld kan de directe overdracht van dit (of een ander) virus door aerosolen (kleine deeltjes bij niezen of hoesten) van persoon op persoon voorkomen. We moeten ons dus concentreren op de indirecte overdracht via handen, oppervlakken of objecten.

Breezo-producten bevatten probiotica voor verbeterde hygiëne en bescherming. Na het aanbrengen blijven de probiotica op het oppervlak (hard oppervlak, textiel, huid ...) om twee belangrijke voordelen te bieden:

Diepe reiniging: de probiotica produceren enzymen die organische vervuiling verteren (bijvoorbeeld biofilm) om het oppervlak microscopisch schoon te maken. De probiotica blijven meerdere dagen continu actief. Zo'n schoon oppervlak zal indien nodig ook de effectiviteit van desinfectiemiddelen verbeteren.
